Opening night

I started the first morning of the festival off right by reading the screenplay for Leslie, Reg Harkemas (Monkey Warfare) next film. Its one of my companys (New Real Films) next projects, about a former homecoming queen who becomes a hippie, death-cult murderess, free adult sex dating her trial. One of the jurors, a straight, right-wing Christian, finds himself irresistibly attracted to the accused, as he checks her out in her miniskirts and hears accounts of the cults orgies and wild lifestyle. Turns out that hes the only juror who isnt able to sentence her to death. Its hilarious and really well written. Its going to be a brilliant follow-up to Monkey Warfare.
